From Mariupol. Through Europe. To the world.
Mariupol Theatre of Ukraine in Exile is a Ukrainian theatre rooted in Mariupol and rebuilt as a pan-European cultural network. Across borders, we create with local artists, communities and institutions, building relationships that continue beyond individual performances and residencies.
Network in motion
ENCOUNTER
Where one place meets another.
Our network grows through encounters between artists, communities and institutions creating space for exchange, dialogue and shared experience.
CREATION
Where different perspectives come together.
Each collaboration becomes an opportunity to create new artistic work, bringing local voices into dialogue with the experiences and stories carried from Mariupol.
CONTINUITY
Where encounters become lasting connections.
The relationships formed through our work continue beyond individual performances and residencies, shaping an evolving network of people, ideas and artistic practices across borders.
Network built through relationships
Our network is not simply a collection of places where we perform. It is a growing constellation of artists, communities and institutions connected through artistic practice, exchange and shared experience.
Each new place brings a new encounter. Each collaboration can become a lasting connection - carrying people, ideas, languages and knowledge into the next place.
